Prayers for our child:
I pray that our child won’t ever live in fear of what man might do to him/her.
I pray that he/she will sleep soundly at night, knowing everything is in God’s hands, and He will take care of us.
I pray that our child will be kind to everybody, and treat everyone he/she meets with love and respect.
I pray that our child will recognize when somebody is doing wrong, and not associate with that wrong.
I pray that our child will still love those who do wrong, despite their mistakes.
I pray that our child will put God’s will before his/her own desires.
I pray that our child will stand up for what’s right, even when it means being ridiculed or persecuted.
I pray that God will give our child the strength to withstand that persecution.
I pray that our child won’t get caught up in the violence and hate in today’s world, whether it be in real life or movies and games.
I pray that our child will hold onto his/her innocence for as long as possible.
I pray that our child will hold nature dear to his/her heart the same way we do. That going outside to play and explore will always come before technology.
I pray that our child will have a desire to connect with people, to really listen and understand the hearts and minds of others.
I pray that our child will never rely on Wi-Fi, a smartphone, tablet, laptop, or gaming system for entertainment.
I pray that God will bless our child with siblings, to love and learn from, to share and play with.
I pray that our home will be blessed with laughter and love, amidst this world full of hate.
Most of all, I pray that God will keep our child close to Him. That no matter how far he/she may stray from the Lord, that God will never give up on him/her.
I pray that our child will always remember the faith and foundation we will instill in him/her and always come back to it.
I pray that our child will never have to experience the torment and failure that my husband and I experienced when we tried to live our lives without God.
I pray that God will give us the wisdom and guidance we need to raise up our children in a way that pleases Him.
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.Proverbs 22:6 KJV
